Looks from Marchesa

This year I have seen some amazing runway looks so far, but there is one collection that completely stands out from the rest. Every year I get excited to gaze at the incredible designs at Marchesa. The one of a kinda dresses are dream-like chiffon and satin pieces. Marchesa is so versatile but  yet so feminine. Every celebrity or figure who gets the chance to wear  these gowns look gorgeous and regal. The Marchesa Spring 2011 RTW Collection is showing off the normal trends of Marchesa but adding a new flare of excitement.  These dresses are so romantic and glamorous, and all have their own voices. I would have to pick Marchesa Spring 2011 Collection as my favorite collection so far this season. Marchesa always surprises me and gives me a sense of glitz and glamour. It is an unforgettable brand that will continue to never disappoint. 

Collection of the Day

 I am in love with the new 2011 Fall Collection of amazingly gorgeous Nicholas Kirkwood heels. I first laid my eyes while watching Sex and the City 2. After that moment, I fell in love. The look of them on the incredibly talented Sarah Jessica Parker was just plain jaw dropping. These heels are so unique in their own way, and look as though they are pieces of art. Nicholas Kirkwood pumps are not the straight out obvious looking amazing shoes, they are creatively fabulous and innovative. I chose these four that I loved the most because I feel they all are so introspective and extraordinarily different from each other. From seeing them on SJP, I think they are one of the most form fitting shoes I have ever seen. Nicholas Kirkwood is on its way to becoming one of the most well-known shoe brands in the fashion industry, and I second that one hundred percent. I am obsessed with next season's shoe collections that are going to hit the runway, but the stunningly modern designs of Nicholas Kirkwood stand out to me as one of the best. 

Obsession De' Jour

There are so many unbelievable trends hitting the streets and runways, but there are a few that really stand out to me as great staple pieces. I have noticed that neutrals and patterns have made there way into peoples' closets in a new and fresh way. The runway has demonstrated many looks of minimalism and simplistic colors. This includes black, white, and neutrals. The Yves Saint Laurent 2011 Collection displays neutral colors and sharp figures, which are a must have for fall. Neutrals can be beneficial to figures fitting styles, and can be extenuated by adding a pop of color in a shoe or lip. Another trend that is making its way into the public eye is patterns. One that is already well known is the floral style. Floral dresses were seen on the streets with other pieces such as denim jackets. A new pattern that is going to be the biggest hit for fall is leopard. Adding a leopard bag or shoe to a rather simple look is a chic way of being bold  for fall.
